Located in the heart of Hong Kong, Agave is a Mexican restaurant with over 20 years of history. When we started to work with the team, they wanted to break the mold, graphically-speaking.
The client wanted to differentiate itself from the strong competition in Hong Kong, incorporating tailor-made illustrations in to the ceiling location that would be as tantalizing as its margaritas.
We wanted the illustrations to be anything but cheesy, but at the same time they had to represent recognizable aspects of Mexican culture.
We plucked well-known heroes from traditional Mexican culture and dropped them into a modern context, giving a nod to current trends whilst remaining 100% authentic.

Timeless Coast Endless Smiles
The Méhari and the Costa Brava have forged a relationship that endures over time. From the 60s to the 90s, this iconic vehicle has traveled the winding coastal roads in perfect harmony with the Mediterranean. Its vibrant orange or sky-blue presence has captured the essence of freedom and adventure. Amid cliffs and fishing villages, the Méhari has witnessed and starred in unforgettable stories, turning the Costa Brava into a canvas where it traced its own lines of indelible memories. Despite time passing, their bond remains a nostalgic echo of an era of discovery and freedom along the Catalan coast.

In La Bisbal de l'Empordà, beauty flourishes in every corner, amidst cobbled alleys and facades whispering ancestral tales. Its landscapes, amid golden fields and blue mountains, serve as the perfect canvas for a rich cultural tradition. Here, craftsmanship becomes a living legacy, embodied in ceramics that dazzle with their unique colors and patterns. Workshops overflow with creativity, reflecting the artisanal skill passed down through generations. This Mediterranean city embodies a meeting point between natural majesty and human creativity, offering a delightful journey through its rooted culture and exquisite art.

A local cheeseburger joint, established its first shop on Sun Street, Wan Chai in March 2017.
Honbo celebrates the essence of American-style burgers, prioritising simplicity and quality ingredients. With a focus on perfecting the classic burger, Honbo's brand DNA encompasses every aspect, including a straightforward menu. From a unique all-natural potato milk bun recipe to importing Double Gold American beef from Wisconsin, Honbo pays attention to often-overlooked details. Each Honbo burger embodies the finest flavors of Hong Kong.
By summer 2019, Honbo expanded its presence to both sides of Victoria Harbour, with two locations: Sun Street in Wan Chai and The Mills in Tsuen Wan, ensuring fans can savor a #RealGoodBurger made with care, love, and integrity.
